Canny cans are a sound investment

events phoenixWith so much information around the internet about earpiece’s it can be hard to find the best and generally honest articles. here is a piece from a good website that i believe as veritable, don’t quote me on it but please read and enjoy

Ultimate Ears 300vi £49.90 ***
Snapped up by Logitech a few years ago, Ultimate Ears made a name for themselves with their ultra high-end custom in-ear monitor earphones that are used on stage by the likes of Van Halen and Seal.

Their latest set of cans are decidedly more affordable and aimed primarily at smartphonesporting music fans.
Once you’ve adjusted the bendable ear loops to fit, the 300vi make for a comfortable set of headphones that stay reassuringly in place during a jog or workout.

They also offer a fair amount of natural noise isolation from the outside world with their snug-fitting buds.
The 300vi’s pump out a very impressive sound that compares well with more expensive rivals such as Sennheiser’s recent new line of mid-range in-ears.
While maybe tuned a little too lightly on the treble, it’s an otherwise nicely detailed sound with a decent but not overbearing amount of bass.
The only real gripe comes with the in-line controls. Their placement on the cord is a too high up for my liking, making them a bit difficult to easily access, on the cord i my liking, difficult t while the play control button was a little unresponsive.

On too many occasions it couldn’t cope with registering a double press to skip a track when used with an iPhone. But at this price point they are well worth trying.
